Cardboard Challenge on Friday, October 6, 2023
The DKIES School-wide Cardboard Challenge is a yearly event that invites students to make games out of cardboard or recyclable materials. It's not required, but it is a lot of fun! As students imagine, design, build, and test their games, they develop critical thinking and creativity skills that stick with them throughout their lives. We hope your family will make a game or two for others to play during school on Friday, October 6! To help you out, we invite you to "make the mess at school" on Friday, September 29 at our annual Eat, Play, Build Family Event. You can buy a tasty dinner prepared by our PTO, shop at the book fair & make your child's cardboard challenge game at school. Save the date & start thinking...what game could your child/family make? More information is on the library website.
