Purple Up shirts are in! DKIES and the PTO have purchased a Purple Up t-shirt for every student and teacher to celebrate the Month of the Military Child! Your student will be bringing them home this week. Please have them join us in celebrating by wearing them to school EVERY THURSDAY IN APRIL!

DKIES is celebrating our military students all month long!

We hope all of our students, faculty, and staff enjoy their time off and stay healthy! We can't wait to see you again on March 20th.

Aloha DKIES 'Ohana,

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our entire community. Beginning Friday, February 24th, parents will no longer be allowed to park vehicles within the fire and bus lane in front of the cafeteria. This lane must remain clear for emergency vehicles and buses only. Parents can still drop off their child(ren) in the front of school using the drop off lane. There is no parking allowed in the drop off lane. Parents of preschool and kindergarten students with badges, should park their vehicle in one of the school's designated parking lots prior to walking their child(ren) onto campus. We will begin to accept kindergarten registration packets as of Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.

If you know someone whose child was born on or before July 31st, 2018, please help us by relaying this information to them.

Thank you for being a part of our DKIES School Community. Your feedback is valuable to school improvement efforts. The School Quality Survey (SQS) measures your perceptions of the safety and well-being of your child and your satisfaction and involvement/engagement with your child’s school.

Warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season and a happy New Year! We will be on winter break from December 19th - January 4th! School resumes for students on Thursday, January 5, 2023!

Students will be released early to begin the holiday break on Friday, December 16 at 12:45 PM. Please make arrangements for your child's early release from school.
