Transition Center

The Daniel K Inouye Elementary Transition Center was established to help incoming families transition smoothly and successfully into school and onto the island.  We provide guided tours to all new families, aid in diagnostic testing, support for new/outgoing students through our Anchored 4 Life program, and provide a space where new students can have fun, connect with their peers, and learn about the school. We strive to partner with the students, teachers, and parents to foster an environment where every student feels part of our DKIES Ohana.
